I think if I absolutely had to, I would back Clark before Dean. At least with Clark, there is still somewhat of a chance of getting someone who is a true Democrat instead of a Republicrat, because he has yet to actually hold a political office. With Dean, his record clearly shows where he stands, although of course his rhetoric obviously contradicts his past record of governor.

3. Yes I've long thought that our presidents should only come from NY or CA

Stupid-ass Truman was from Missouri which is mid-range at best and Georgia was much smaller when Carter was there. I think Dems should get the governors of NY or CA to run for the nomination this year.

I am now done with the sarcastic part of this post.

So when you said Clark led thousands of men, does that mean that he can't represent womens' interests? If he can represent them (as I believe he would be great), then surely Dean just might be able to be a leader of a population larger than Vermont.

7. Clark a TRUE Democrat? Gimme a break,

at beats Clark is a true independent. If he wanted to claim he was a true democrat, he should have made his registration before he started exploring running. As it is, he did NOT register as a Dem until after he announced he was running.

I like Clark, but that one thing makes me very suspicious. As for Dean being a Republican, that is just a baseless charge. He's not a liberal, he is a pragmatist that does not make decision based in ideaology, which considering we have suffered from 3 years of shrub making decision on ideology, I'd enjoy the change in approach.
