Are Dean supporters too sensitive??? |
|
Why is it everytime I question Dean's flip-flop on the $87 billion dollar supplemental I get attacked? Dean supporters always immediately go to the moderator crying their infantile eyes out.

Another tactic is if there is a post they don't like, they call it flamebait.

The problem is there are so many Dean supporters that there can be power in numbers.

We're just tired of the some rediculous lines being trotted out. For instance the $87 billion "flip flop". There wasn't one. He said he would support it if it came from Bush's tax cut. End of story.

He never qualified his statement when he and Kucinich were going at it.
First he was for it...now he isn't.
He'll lose on the repeal of the tax cut anyway. The NASCAR dads will hear his position on taxes and immediately tune him out.

11. If you call *anybody* names you'll get negative responses. |

That's just the way human beings are.
I noticed you mentioned "everytime" about the 87 billion.

12. NO - it was where you posted, not what |
|
The Daily Democrat threads have special rules, and they are repeated in each one - you are free to ask this question here. I don't really have an answer for you on it, except that I see Dean change his mind and wording on things, but I do not see them as flip flops.

15. Perhaps it's because attacks against Dean are so common and constant? |
|
After watching the response to Gore's endorsement of Dean, one could ask the same question of some of the supporters of other candidates. Sorry, but, at some point, the constancy of attacks against Dean are going to simply get one line rebuttals. Having the same conversation over and over and over again serves no good purpose.

inflamatory. Please read the rules for posting a new thread in GD before posting a new thread in GD.
P.S. I'll ask Skinner to put a picture-book version of them up for those that need it.
Thanks
Rules to start discussion threads in the General Discussion forum. 1. The subject line of a discussion thread must accurately reflect the actual content of the message.
2. The subject line of a discussion thread and the entire text of the message which starts the thread may not include profanity, excessive capitalization, or excessive punctuation. Inflammatory rhetoric should also be avoided.
3. If you post an article or other published content which is from a conservative source or which expresses a traditionally conservative viewpoint, you must state your opinion about the piece and/or the issues it raises.
4. If you wish to start a vanity thread (ie: a discussion thread in which the sole purpose is to share your personal opinion) you must state your opinion in a non-inflammatory manner which respects differences in opinion and facilitates actual discussion.
5. You may not start a new discussion thread in order to continue a current or recent flame war from another thread. The moderators have the authority to lock threads in order to contain flaming on a particular topic to only one thread at a time.
