Here are my thoughts on our best chance in 2004. |
|
Dean/Clark! I want Kucinich & I will vote for him in the primary, but I believe a Dean/Clark ticket would be the best to kick bush's a**. I thought they both did a good job last night. I also think that their strenghts & weakness compliment each other. The main reasons I see it as Dean/Clark not Clark/Dean is Dean has more political experiance and more grassroots support. While neither of them are far enough left for my taste, they are a strong step in the right, I mean left, direction. Flame away, I'm prepared.

1. Not a bad choice at all; I too like Kucinich of all the candidates, as my |
|
views align most closely with his; I still would like to see Clark/Dean (this week anyway) but I think we need Clark on the ticket one way or another,to help win the South and to balance Dean's lack of military/foreign policy experience. Just my $.02 worth!

3. Silly me, I thought DU was all about Dems stating their opinions. |
|
And by the way it is not a "Dean commercial". He is not even my candidate.

5. Question is,can you get two of these guys together? |
|
Dean/Clark Dean/Edwards Clark and someone....
Whatever happens we need TWO of the strongest, yeah that means someone has to take the backseat role of VP. These guys need to put their ego and ambitions aside which will make for the pairing of two the strongest that Dems can put together for 04. If they are really serious about ending this Nazi regime then it has to go down that way.

6. I'm in complete agreement. |
|
I also think that, his protestations to the contrary, General Clark would accept the VP nod, because he would understand why it was important for the party and the republic that he do so. he is a soldier, and soldiers always do their duty! :)

I don't think Clark is going to end up being Dean's running mate because he has too strong of a personality. Presidential candidates usually prefer a more low-key running mate so they don't get overshadowed. I think Dean's Southern Strategy will involve either Graham or Edwards. I have noticed that Edwards has been avoiding attacking Dean directly. I think he may be vying.
