What the US Govt Did Not Want You To See
Spread it far and wide...

To see first hand what a raytheon corporation
cluster bomb, paid for by your taxes, can do to
the human body, take a look at these graphic and
disturbing photographs. Unfortunately, the bush
mob has forbidden American newspapers and
broadcasters, milquetoasts and lackeys all, from
publishing any information about the human
carnage being visited upon Iraq.

1. The government is being overcautious

Never underestimate the unslakable thirst for Muslim blood endemic in the US voting class.

2. that's indeed horrible, but
It's a bomb and supposed to blow up. I don't have problems with taxpayer money buying bombs. I just have a problem with an idiot president using them in unilateral warmongering.

The weapons are not evil, the men in power are.

3. I believe the point is that Bush has been so successful
at sanitizing this invasion to the point of boredom. Even your reply shows you couldn't care less.
We've dropped something like 45 thousand bombs in Iraq. Do you think we have killed all the chimneys in Iraq like Gulf War I?

A city of 5 million citizens was basically carpetbombed by America.
Not one photo of a Dead GI or opposition fighter has been shown on american TV.

We have argueably killed tens of thousands of innocent people due to an invasion based on the lies put forth by our President and we don't get to see the handiwork of our mighty military?

We don't get to see our brave sons and daughters returning to American soil in a flag-draped coffin? We can't see the thousands being sent to hospitals to have horrific wounds treated?

We see more violence in one die hard movie than we have seen in all of the "war" footage supplied by imbedded reporters and from Afghanistan.

When do we get the truth?

5. Some weapons are evil...
... if only because their presence encourages their use (one of my very great problems with the current emphasis on building nuclear bunker busters).

In fact, this point is clear in a current treaty outlawing the use of cluster weapons--one to which the US is not a signatory nation.
