"Our remarkable military victory"...more propaganda from the local paper!

As always, please use the "post your opinion" option to let this "guest columnist" know what you have to say. We've managed to give some folks over there a good spanking before. Personally, this bit I'm about to quote seems like a thinly-veiled diatribe against Islam, which disgusts me.

"President Bush says we are not at war with Islam. That may well be true. But how many Islamic leaders apologized for the deaths of American citizens caused by the Islamic terrorists? And how many Islamic leaders offered aid to the families of the victims? (Conversely, some Islamic leaders offer money to the families of terrorists.)

We must look at the big picture. The United States with the support of its allies, has liberated two Islamic nations in the past two years. Further it has intervened to stop the slaughter of Muslims in Bosnia.

Christian nations have liberated two Islamic nations. Has any Islamic nation liberated a Christian nation?"

From what I understand, a prince of the House of Saud donated 10 million dollars to the 9/11 fund, only have it rejected.

3. This columnist really should read more history.
Then the facts behind the creation of the current Middle East map would be discovered. The skinny: Britain, France and the US engineered instability. After the Islamic Ottoman Empire threatened Christian Europe for centuries, Western powers vowed it would never happen again. Hence the 1918 map.

4. Whaaaaaat?
"But how many Islamic leaders apologized for the deaths of American citizens caused by the Islamic terrorists?"

What kind of stupid shit is that? That's like me apologizing for Timothy McVeigh because he was an American and so am I. These people have such a warped sense of reality. More that half the world is Muslim. Does that mean that all these billions of people owe us an apology. Many Muslim countries expressed condolences which I believe were truly sincere, but an apology??? Is this person fucking HIGH?

Great now you got me all pissed off and now I gotta go to work. GREAT. LOL

7. Guess the writer hasn't paid attention to news in Afghanistan
doesn't look much like liberation. The taliban is regrouping and the UN is considering pulling due to security concerns. In other words, it sounds as though it is about where it was when the Taliban took over. Not much liberation there.
