CNN.com : Pro-American takes over as Canadian Prime Minister
this is at http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/12/12/us.canada.ap/index.html

Isn't it ridiculously simplistic to say Paul Martin is pro-American and Jean Chretien is anti-American? Who are they trying to appeal to by sticking labels on people like that? Is it supposed to make the Freepers feel better or something?

:eyes:

1. No one is pro or anti-American. It all depends on the issue at hand.
CNN implies that you're either with us or against us.

2. Lotza Labels...
Yeah, CCN's sticking labels on people ala Faux News, trying to absorb or steal Faux viewers into watching CNN.

Every show on TV & radio is pro-Repuke it seems except for Maury Pauvich: YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER! :) I love that stuff.

4. Lord Byron: Question
Labels aside, can you give us your opinion of how, if at all, US/Canada relations may change?

5. I'd expect considerable superficial improvement
but Martin is too wily to get too close to Bush. That would not play well with resurgent Canadian left
