Last night on the History Channel: A Full Hour of Bushevik Pravda |
|
Just who owns the History Channel, anyway. I was already suspicious of them when they swtiched to "All War All the Time" in the Lead-Up to the Imperial Invasion of Iraq.
But last night I watched a show that fit so hand-in-glove with Bushevik Pravda that I figured Uncle Karl must have penned it himself!
Noty only did it parrot Bushevik Talking Pints comparing Iraq to Nazi Germany (as IF -- the closest parallel to Naiz Germany in many ways is the Amerikan Empire, though "kinder and gentler" to the Imperial Amerikan Subjects, for the moment), but it also brought up the SS Werewolves, who, it should be noted, were designed to infitrated behind allied line while the war was going on. Yet still plodding on in an Imperial Pravda sort of way, ignored it's own presented facts to make the next half of the show a tortured comparison to Iraq and Hussein...
My God, is the Sovietification of the Amerikan Empire moving fast, spreading across the channels and perhaps ultimately to dominate all airwaves all the time, Soviet style.
My God, I pity the poor bastards who have to live in the Empire in 2100.
Anyone else see this show? I didn't catch the name because I was flipping back and forth every time I got pissed. But it was on HNN in the 9:00-10:00pm slot, I believe.
It was a Soviet-style disgrace, I tell you.

the europeans are sick of our shit & the EU will be a successful counterbalance to our hegemony once oil production collapses. the rest of the planet would rather do business with europe anyway.

2. I saw that show listed, and suspected the same motives |

The History channel does this all the time. Quite often, Discovery channel (owned by the same company, I think), often gets into the action as well.
In fact, I think that all the Discovery/Science channels, both History channels, and the 'Learning' and travel channels are all owned by the same company. Possibly the SciFi channel as well in that mix. There are really only about 4-6 companies that own most of the cable networks.
It might be Time/Warner that owns Discovery/History, IIRC.

but I agree with your assessment that we are much close aligned to the early stages of Nazi Germany. I recently visited the Holocaust Museum and the parallels were shocking. It literally sent a chill up my spine.
I have a co-worker who lived under Communist rule in Poland. She said the propaganda she sees here is just as bad, if not worse. The difference was that they KNEW it was propaganda and got quite adept at reading between the lines. Here, she said, people seem quite clueless.

7. Yep, prolesuntied, the Imperial Subjects of Amerika aren't very savvy |
|
Of course, in their defense, they haven't really ever been victims of Tyranny before, in a wholesale way as the Busheviks are imposing, as the Russians or
The pull of the previous 225 years is so much stronger than the Pravda-muffled reaslity of the last 3, not to mention the denial involved of recognizing that not only can it happen here but it IS happening here after a lifetime of the petty conceit that it could NEVER HAPPEN HERE.
People are going to be slower to catch on, partiuclarly when you factor in the conceited denial (that, in truth, all people are fallible to).

8. 1932-45. That's the one nice thing about Nazi Germany. |

Only 13 years. Better yet, since things happen so much faster now, the time to do them in (Actually for them to implode) might only be 6-7 years!

11. Not nice to compare us to Nazi Germany... |
|
people here will tell you that, and their rationale is only that Bush hasn't "killed his 6,000,000 ".... YET! We can't see propaganda because we've been conditoned into believing that only the "bad guys" do propaganda, and ou4r "Free Press" ALWAYS reports the TRUTH....

They are: A&E Television Networks, a joint venture of the Hearst Corporation (37.5%; ABC, Inc., 37.5%; and NBC, 25%), is an award-winning ...(yada ...)

9. I remember watching a Mother's Day Special on Bar Bush |

last year and it was stated unequivocally that when Poppy finished college at Yale, he and Bar moved to Texas, where * was born. Some history.

They played this in the drumbeat of war, too, I think. I did not watch last night, but I remember the previous airing if it was the same one. I could only bear to watch about 10 minutes of it pre-war.
