Wanted: Help Stopping Dean |
|
I deeply care about America and the Democratic Party and I am working with a friend on developing a Stop Dean movement because a Dean candidacy would be the death of the Democratic Party ... not because he's too liberal necessarily but because he's a terrible politician and an unattractive candidate with an "ultraliberal McGovern" reputation. This election is too important to put up a sacrificial lamb. If we don't win, the Republicans will have complete control of America for probably at least a decade.
This is from another poster: Why is it so evident that Howard Dean is being forced on the Democratic party? The man has been running for 2 years, and the most that he polls is 25% (after the money, and publicity and the endorsements). That's 75% of Democrats who don't see Dean as a winner, and does not include Independents. He will not help any members of congress running in the South, and he has no foreign policy experience, gravitas or charisma. Heck, he doesn't even look presidential at 5'7" and has no neck to speak of. He speech is fast and he stumbles through much of what he is saying, until he gets to his canned Tony Robbins mantra of "you've got the power". His following is supposed to be "college educated", but I am starting to rather doubt that they have done their homework. They have all forgotten to read the chapter on winning a general election.
The 75% of Democrats need to unite against Dean to save our party from the minority of Dean cult members. I am looking for webmasters and grassroots organizers, particularly around the DC area. Please contact me at white_guy_00000@hotmail.com ASAP. No proDean replies are necessary. Thanks.

Why go negative on Dean when there is so much to be positive about with Clark? Why alienate thousands of Democrats?
This is a terrible post and I hope it gets locked. Whatever you think about Dean as a candidate, his supporters are NOT cult members. Get a life.

trouble.
I favor Dean 1st, Clark used to be second, but if he's anything like the arrogant SOB's who cream in their shorts when they see him in uniform, I'll take even Holy Joe over him.

I'm willing to hear you out if you'll be fair enough to present your alternative candidate and the reasons you support him/her.
Persuade me please, I'm all ears.
