Poll question: What if it came down to Dean and Lieberman |
Unlike some I don't rule Joe out from being a major contender for the nomination. His run for VP gave him name recognition. I have to give Lieberman this much--he has been consistent on Iraq. Unlike some candidates he didn't try to reposition his support for the war. I can see him actually becoming Dean's leading foe for the nomination and recent polls have indicated that he is gaining some ground in NH and ahead in states like Oklahoma and Florida (though just barely). What if it did come down to Dean vs. Lieberman how would you vote?

6. Dean hands down. Lieberman is still hanging |
on the coattails of the 2000 election and doesn't realize that the coat(Gore)has moved on, gone. He thinks the votes were for him in 2000 and refuses to acknowledge that he was an unknown and I think really hurt Gore. Hell, what would he do on Saturday if a major crisis came up since it is a holy day for him?
