Sadam- Bin Ladin- Capture
I don't know if this the right forum for this or not. I appologize if it is not.

It occured to me that at least some part of the public will make a mental connection that if we can catch Sadam then we can catch Bin Ladin. Sadam was just another demonstration of our military's might. Then it occured to me that the capture of Sadam was as much as anything luck and that even his sons had put up more resistance to capture. In either case, Sadam or his sons, a mere company of Army troops with appropriate support could easily do the job, it was just a matter of finding them.

In the case of Bin Ladin it is a much different matter. No mere company of troops is going to be able to storm whatever Pakastani cave Bin Ladin is using. He has to have a considerable bit of protection from comrads loyal to the death around him at all times. So there would be a battle that would not be measured in hours but more likely in weeks. And were that to happen what do you think subordonate or maybe even just sympathetic cells world-wide would be doing in retalliation?
