"Uncovered" - shown in UK - but not in US!!!

I spoke to friends in the UK - who had seen segments of "Uncovered" on the BBC - who said that they can't believe Americans would vote for Bush after seeing the film! This is the controversial documentary exposing the lies that led to the Iraq war...

The promotion for the film says that it "takes you behind the walls of government, as CIA, Pentagon and foreign service experts speak out, many for the first time, detailing the lies, misstatements and exaggerations that served as the reasons to fight a "preemptive" war that wasn't necessary."

moveon did a house-party thing last weekend, and something like 2,000 different locations across the country gathered together to watch it

as a DUer, you are going to find yourself now really learning anything new in this (indeed, there is plenty that was left out, that we here were aware of), but it is PERFECT for those who do NOT know. No tinfoil hat theories, no speculation on motives, etc, just the facts ma'am.

6. I bought the DVD........

it's a good documentary but most of the info is stuff that most of us know already. The other half of the country (the Repubs) are the ones that should buy and view it, IMO! It helps that it is all put together well by the producers of the film (instead of finding bits of info here and there). It's worth the cost. I'm making my son watch it and "Unprecedented" when he comes home for Christmas.

So many people I speak to have NO clue about how angry the CIA is over the lies. And.... while you're stuffing.... don't forget to order the LOADED DECK..... that's really history in the making. Every face in that deck is part and parcel of the horror we're living through.

11. the film is on order....

according to the web site, - the film is not yet in...so, there may be some problem in getting it by Xmas, - but maybe not. Order now... I do know that TVNL only ordered a specific amount of DVD's.... I suppose you can pay extra for priority mail....it's probably worth it.
