Religious Coalition For Reproductive Choice. Has anyone seen this website?

I received a letter from them today. It's the first I ever heard of them.

"The plain truth is this: A full-scale campaign to take away a woman's right to choose is under way at the highest levels of our government." (Quote from letter.)

They go on to name Tom DeLay who is behind a bill called the "Houses of Worship Free Speech Restoration Act", which would allow preachers to tell their congregations whom and what to vote for, including the overturning of the rights of women to safe therapuetic abortions. The bill is authored by lawyers in the employ of Pat Robertson.

Apparently Tom DeLay and Pat Robertson do not own Christianity yet. The RCRC are supported by the following:

Presbyterian Church (USA)
Women’s Ministries
Washington Office

Reconstructionist Movement
Jewish Reconstructionist Federation

Reform Judaism
Central Conference of American Rabbis
North American Federation of Temple Youth
Union of American Hebrew Congregations

United Church of Christ
Justice and Witness Ministries

United Methodist Church
General Board of Church and Society
General Board of Global Ministries, Women’s Division

Unitarian Universalist
Unitarian Universalist Association
Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation
Young Religious Unitarian Universalists

American Jewish Committee
American Jewish Congress
Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith
Catholics for a Free Choice
Church of the Brethren Women’s Caucus

1. Shameless kick for the left coast.
Gee, someone must have an opinion about this group.

2. That's cool
All religious organizations are not oppressive to women. I am glad that those that aren't are brave enough to make a stand.

3. I attended a briefing they held in Congress
I was amazed that those religious leaders were concerned about educating teens about sex, and women's reproductive rights being eroded by the Bush administration.
