kucinich folks
just wanted to say that you guys are behind a darned good man...

i listened through a presser he gave in california today and i was exceedingly impressed... he HAS the message, that's for sure...

talking about iraq, he was saying that folks seem to have forgotten that the original reason we went IN to this war was for weapons of mass destruction (at least according to this administration) but they did an about face once we were in there then and only then, did it turn into a 'lets find saddam.' game of cat and mouse... moreover, he said that if this administration is making it 'official policy' to KILL every dictator they want, then we're gonna be in perpetual war...

this stuff is so common sensical, right? yet besides sharpton, braun, dean and kucinich, NO ONE is saying it... NO ONE! kucinich was so blunt, so on message, and right on target...

what are 'the others' saying? they're saying, 'oh bush was right, saddam was evil, the war was just, we are now safe, praise the lord'.... what crap! what complete crap!

so to kucinich folks, i LOVE your chosen candidate. he's a believer, he's a liberal, he's a real democrat in a time when there are so few left... i only wish we didn't live in times where he's seen as some "whacko lefty" by so many...

but alas, we live in strange times indeed...

maybe someday, maybe someday...

3. good post aand I agree
I actually split my time between two candidates Kucinich being one of them.

Kucinich is the real deal. I believe his followers are a special breed that believe in a thing called hope (remember that slogan)

I raise a glass and salute you

4. Hey, thanks
I've been leaning his way for a while, but, after DK's slam of the media and Ted Koppel, I wrote a large check to his campaign.

Viva Dennis!

5. Thanks for sharing that.
I appreciate knowing your thoughts after hearing him speak. :toast:

I wonder if everyone that likes him better but supports someone else might change if he has a good showing in the primaries...

8. Kucinich is still my top choice, no doubt...
I'll donate to him and/or Clark as long as either one is around.

16. Yes
I like Kucinich - a lot - but he's stalled at 2% in the polls. I'm looking at the frontrunners and support the one I think is the best out of them and the best hope for defeating Bush, but if Kucinich were among the frontrunners I'd be giving him serious consideration.

As it stands right now a Kucinich vote seems too much like throwing my vote away. He and Sharpton really should stay in the race though, because they embolden the others to take more liberal positions than they otherwise would. And that can only be a good thing and help in the long run to push this country back from the far-right abyss.

7. Why thank you!
I have never understood why he is called a far out lefty. He is just supporting and talking about the things our country has always said it stands for. He is the real deal IMO, I suppose not everyones cup of tea but he has aroused hope in this old, disillusioned democrat.

10. Dennis rocks!
It is sad that we are living at a time in which George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Harry Truman could not get elected as President because the American people are sold on the image and the packaging of a candidate, rather than the substance.

A Kucinich Administration would make America a more just and noble nation. I fear that in so quickly dismissing him as "unelectable," a label given to Dennis by the media, we are only cheating ourselves and our futures.

12. Absolutly Correct !
It is that simple. Dennis is no kook, he is a true American and he holds forth the ideals that have made our country great in the past and can make it even greater in the future. Simply vote for what you believe.
