I didn't know Libya had WMDs????
I thought Iraq had them all? But now it turns out that Libya has WMDs but Iraq doesn't but we invaded Iraq? Shouldn't we have invaded Libya?Oh, this is so confusing!

I hope there aren't other countries over there with those damn WMDs. If they don't have them, we can invade and say they have them but since they don't have them, we know they can't use them on us. But if they have WMDs, we won't invade because they might use them on us. Are you confused yet?

2. They sure do
The bad thing is this is a major policy coup for Bush. He can make the case that Moammar Gaddafi was influenced by the invasion of Iraq, and certainly by that video of Saddam and his spider hole.

And Iran has signed agreements to let inspectors into their nuclear facilities. If North Korea bows to pressure it's all over. 4 more years of Bush and this time it'll be legitimate.

4. I don't know about 4 more years...
he may have some success in the middle east...but the damage is done here at home...to many people out of work, the spending is out of control, the whole Iraq mess will definetly hurt him...to many dead ends and to many lives lost...

I sure hope there are not 4 more years...we will be in trouble if so...

3. Moamar has been quiet since we killed half his family
as they were hiding in the desert, seemingly safe.

Some people learn from their mistakes.

7. There's a twist to this...Moamar paid restitution to the families of the
Lockerbie bombing...he is a terrorist, yet he got off with a "fine."

And, now, isn't part of this deal involving oil-related help for Libya??

Seems like Bush is doing business with a terrorist....and still no real pressure on his Saudi friends over the 911 hijackers.

So, who will be brave and bring this up?? Paula Zahn?? Wolf? Nah!

8. Halliburton's been doing big business in Libya for years now
in spite of U.S. sanctions. There wouldn't be a connection there or anything.

10. All those people of color squat on the land ...
that has the resources we need, or access to the resources we want. It's easy to ignore the killing done by the U.S., or with U.S. assistance, in other countries and claim terroristic killings are always done by the #*$&%@!&#@ dictator in insert name of technologically-underdeveloped country here.

Let's just dispense with all the preliminaries and invade them one-by-one. Then we'll have control over all the resources we want... I mean, errrr, we'll spread democracy all over the world.
