Our First Bumper Sticker Encounter

For the last three months, we've been (proudly!) displaying "Anyone But Bush 2004" bumper stickers on our cars. Being in (rethug) northern Virginia, we expected the usual responses, but nothing..... until today.

My wife was gassing up the truck when a man came over to her, pointing at the sticker. He looks right at her and says (drum roll) "I REALLY like your bumpersticker - did you have it specially made"? This led to a brief discussion and of course a mention of DU! He was unfamiliar with our lovely corner of cyberspace, but he said he'd go home and check it out! I think he'll like it. :)

Score one for the good guys.
