Repug Thugs try to defeat Ten C removal: Alabama

— Language that would prohibit U.S. marshals from removing a Ten Commandments monument from the Alabama Judiciary Building was added to federal legislation that has passed the U.S. House and is pending in the Senate.

The House voted 260-161 July 23 for an amendment that Rep. John Hostettler, R-Indiana, tacked on to the Commerce, Justice, State and Judiciary spending bill.

The amendment says that none of the funds appropriated
