Freeper Father-In-Law Can be Swayed; Please Help
My father-in-law, who trusts the WSJ like Gospel, wants quality information on PNAC; however, he is looking for validation on the information that is right-wing to centrist; I believe he could be swayed with cogent, tactful, and properly massaged information.

2. Thanks!
Appreciate the comments; do you know of a summary? Recally that this is a republican we're dealing with, who has a short attention span. Anything mainstream that lends credibility (that can also be read on the john) would be useful.

5. The definitive information: type in ..Rep Ron Paul ..>speeches>2003>July10
Edited on Fri Dec-26-03 01:20 AM by sam sarrha
It is a fairly long speech entitled "Neo-CONNED", but is however concise. he really gives them hell. the NEOCON's are actually considered liberals... Lieberman is a NEOCON plant in the democratic party. Sorry about the round about way to get there, the easy method suddenly stopped working.. try http://house.gov/paul/congrec/congrec2003/cr071003.htm ..you will get a not found page/ type in 'rep ron paul speech neo-conned'and it will take you to a list where it is listed to the right of the LINKS tab...but i also got there by searching Rep Ron Paul, and clicking on speeches in the bar to the left, then on 2003, then on July 10, 2003 Neo-CONNED.

Rep Ron Paul is a Libertarian rep. from Texas. He lays it out very well. I know of no other source as good.:wow:

9. When PNAC first became common knowledge....
I put it to disk. After visiting the link provided, there have been some changes, (which I have put to disk).

The original PNAC site dropped from the net when the heat was on, and they seem to have softened a bit on the rhetoric...but it's still the same old "Take over the World" crap that all disillusioned megalomaniacs have.

Yep, just send Father-in-Law there...or, you can show him the loons over at Freeperland!

10. Have him reference Leo Strauss and Irving Kristol
Edited on Fri Dec-26-03 04:25 AM by kaitykaity
(father of William Kristol, one of the founders of the
neocon movement).

Perle, Wolfowitz, et. al., were all students and/or
acolytes of Strauss at University of Chicago, and his
theories shape their political ideology.
