What you didn't hear on Faux yesterday |
|
The various States and Cities that have said they are going to set up and import medicines from Canada (including St Petersburg, Florida)..
And Jebbie saying on Christmas day (lots of folks watching news on that day) that he is going to stop and not allow it in Florida.
Wake up AARP, VFW, Democrats. It is time to register to vote and send "the boys" back to Maine, or Houston, or Miami, or wherever it is that they are supposed to be from.

This is very important...
You know why? Because Canada's 'socialized' medicine structure works. The main reason it's hurting and is threatened is because of external pressure from the US (this comes in many forms).
It's also a huge political hot potato as the Republicans try and balance between who financed them and who voted them in (and who may not in 2004).
Edited for typo

3. wasn't the Bush admin. going to make it illegal to buy from Canada? |
|
I thought I heard somewhere that the government was going to try and stop people from getting their drugs from the great white north. Any move by Jeb to stop it in Florida should cost him reelection, too many retired snow birds down there who would be a little pissy if he did that I would think

5. The new Medicare Bill signed by Bush* makes that illegal |
|
It also makes bargaining with the pharmaceutical Companies for lower prices by the government impossible. Once they establish prices there is nothing that can be done. It was a really nice bill the AARP endorsed.
