1. More like "shit king of the web"
That site is pathetic, even for Freepazoid standards.

PARANOIA STRIKES DEEP: The folks at Democratic Underground are wondering if the Iran earthquake was http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=960877">triggered by Bush

Yep. And Karl Rove is personally making sure that your skateboarding magazines get lost in the mail. (And scroll down to the post noting that Kucinich opposes such weapons -- that guy doesn't miss a thing!)

UPDATE: Look at the photos!(link to http://www.jessicaswell.com/) (some stupid picture of Rove over the EQ site)

Meanwhile, here's more on Kucinich's, er, farsightedness.

5. Broken link in your post
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=960877

When you format it that way, you need to rememeber to delete the http:// so that all you put in after link: is www.xxxxxx.com

because if you leave the http:// your link becomes http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=960877

Peace

9. Gotta give him a point or two for the line about skateboarding magazines
but what's so ridiculous about the earthquake thing? If it were possible to generate earthquakes, we'd be doing it.

6. To borrow a phrase, Who Cares What They Think?
I believe the Bush-caused-the-earthquake theory to be ridiculous, but so what. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, nutty as it may be. It was posted in General Discussion, and I'm not aware of any rules stopping such a post.

More importantly, right-wing websites and other media are going to villify us no matter what we do, e.g., too angry, we want US soldiers killed, we're conspiracy theorists, and so on.

Let's throw all these conspiracy theories against a wall and see what sticks. Some of them will--September 11, 2001 comes to mind, as does election theft and vote fraud.

So let these right-wing idiots say whatever they're going to say; they plan to anyway. And let's just do what they're going to do, impervious to the anti-DU hit pieces out there. These people weren't invited to our conversation. Screw them.

And for what it's worth--Bush didn't cause the earthquake, but I'm certain he would have if he had that capability.

7. it's pointless to worry about this
it's fallacious for them to make anything of wild posts on DU, or any site. Who knows who's making those posts, it could be people trying to make DU look foolish, it could be the very people reposting it at their conservative sites.

I feel the same about freeper threads posted here, a few posts by nutballs doesn't say anything about conservatives in general.
