Crossfire..Repubs are going nuts 'cause Hillary is better liked than Laura |
|
It's really hilarious....For years they have been trying to convince the American public that Hillary is a she devil....and yet Hillary still comes out in the gallup poll the "most admired woman"...second is Oprah...third is Laura Bush...LOL

1. What? No influx of Stepford Wife votes? |
|
You'd think they'd have come out to support their Role Model.

I'm sure their collective heads exploded with Hillary out rated their beloved stepford wife, Pickles.

She could have been alot harder on Tucker, and he knew it. No wonder he was so shocked and gracious to her for buying him a cake.

7. I have nothing against Laura Bush |
|
But being married to the president doesn't automatically make one "admirable" in my book. For years, the RW complained that Hillary exercised power but was unelected. Now she IS elected and is making her own mark. Their bitching about her will never end.

11. Whenever I see her she impresses me as a charming, warm, very FUNNY |
|
woman....Whenever a Republican mouthpiece speak of her they describe her as cold, calculating, ambitious for power....None of those characteristics come across to me....Observing her as a non American, I must say she comes across as much more genuine than Laura Bush, who really does seem to be Stepfordlike....Hillary has been terrific on David Letterman!.....

15. And if a guy is calculating and ambitious, no one criticizes him. |
|
Oh, the litany of complaints about Hillary never ends!
"She was elected on her husband's coattails."
Gee, NAME RECOGNITION has never given anyone political advancement, huh? Check 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, please.
"She wants power." I sure as hell hope so, and it won't be to line her pockets, like some folks we know.
And you know the others: that she's chilly, that she laughs too much, etc., etc. Well, make up your minds.
The thing about the Clintons is, they're nice to their foes, political and otherwise. So the RW spends a lot of time befuddled over HRC's warmth and collegiality. I love it.

|
Do they actually say she laughs too much?....How ridiculous...She has a very infectious, hearty laugh....And I'll bet she'll "have the last laugh!".....She and Bill seem to have done a better job of parenting than the "good Christian" Bushes too....Compare the daughters!!!

... polling numbers at the height of the impeachment process, these numbers tell us something.
Warning, I'm about to sound a rare optimistic note!
People know a bit more than we give them credit for. Even with the entire media practically spouting Repub talking points verbatim, there are are still a lot of Americans who see it all for the horse hockey it is.
I firmly believe this this phenomema 'enables' the 'tipping point' theory of political fortunes. With all the negative press, there are still a bunch of folks who see Hillary as a good person. And I believe also that a lot of fence-sitters will turn against Bush* on a dime. He's going to overreach, and it is all going to crash down at once.

WHat the HELL is admirable about Laura? SHe does nothing, she represents the old school subserviant woman...why would women respond to her?

A dronelike stepfor wife and librarian that "doesn't read", married to the worst prez this nation ever had.
I might admire her for being able to spend 20+ years with that drooling idiot.

26. How can the vapid Laura be third? |
|
This has got to be some sort of a knee jerk defensive reaction.
This woman is nowhere near any sort of claiming an accomplishment that would gain her the third place. She is, really,as stupid as the man she chose to ride in on for the rest of her life because he had wealth and she liked that idea.
She is willing to do anything to maintain that elevated place in life. So shallow a woman that when asked what she will do on her trip to Europe, she replied that she would "shop and eat"
She is as phoney as the rest of them, shallow and stupid, and not knowing which way to turn unless told which way to turn by others--I do think she indulges in her drinks , her cigarettes and her shallow amusements--which are--well which are--well what are her amusements anyhow?.
