IMUS asks -- "where is the outrage over WMD lies"..... |
|
In a discussion with Andrea Mitchell...they went down the checklist of what was siad by the admin. vs the report and what Powell has admitted recently.
He wants to know why we are, as Americans are not "mad".
This points to the case of why we need to "untangle this hideous media cabal" which lies to the American sheeple all day long.
Imagine you lost a family member in the war and you are hearing the truth now.

4. People are still reeling with denial |
|
they bought the lies hook line and sinker, they bought the second set of lies about "freeing the poor people of Iraq", etc... They bought it all, gullibly, and the hardest thing for any human being to do is to face themselves and do personal introspection that, gee, maybe they were all part of this gung ho propoganda that resulted in the deaths of thousands , wounding of thousands, and death of the soldiers for Greed and Power. And as I listened to Bill Maher the other night on Aaron Brown's show, as much as I sometimes want to bitch slap Maher, he was right, IMO, when he stated "If the Democrats dont get a SPINE and start speaking up, they deserve to lose" (this in reference to all of their infighting and picking on Dean).. YES, its okay to be mad as HELL, and Dean has tapped into that..so has Clark...BE mad as HELL... Imus needs to come visit the DU boards, he might see a whole lot of anger ...the DLC should come here too and tap into the anger, as should the Dems who keep sniping at each other and not envisioning the real culprits. Gads, its enough to make one go mad.

10. Bill Maher is a hypocrite. |
|
If he's so intent on wanting the Democrats to show a spine and leadership, he shouldn't be telling Clinton BJ jokes infront of Hillary Clinton this late in the game.
The moron did as much as a Republican to destroy the Democrat's credibility.

|
and obviously a priveledged snot...nonetheless, I am also ready to bitch slap him and the Dems who stand around with their fingers up their butts (Daschle, Pelosi, Biden, Lieberman, Kerry, and a few others) , who arent reaming Bush a new asshole at this point.. They are in the beltway and completely out of touch with the pop at large and their Dem constituents. Plus, they are beholden to their corporate sponsors. I commend the Dems like Dean, like Clark , like Levin and Kennedy, McDermott, Waxman, Sheila Jackson Lee, and others who saw right through the SOB and called him out as a treasonous lying bastard.. Even John Dean sees it. He should, he remembers the last Impeachment. Drip Drip Drip...all I can do is hope for Justice.

Just how manipulated were we? More than we realized: http://www.ceip.org/files/projects/npp/resources/iraqintell/home.htm"This new Carnegie Report studies what the intelligence community understood about Iraq's WMD programs before the war and outlines policy reforms designed to improve threat assessments, deter transfer of WMD to terrorists, and avoid politicization of the intelligence process."

At every turn he mentions that he's voting for * and the lies have no impact on him. Citizens take their cues from these dolts.

12. The media are asking? |
|
They should know the answer.
It's because these "admissions" are like the administrations "retractions" small print apologies long after events have concluded.
We knew the war was a sham before it happened. Millions marched to try and make their voices heard, yet the media decided war makes better copy than peace and backed the war mongerors and broadcast their message.
That and I believe that the majority of Americans are wilfully ignorant. They'd rather ignore facts than be proven wrong. This makes them extremely easy to manipulate.

15. I started this question on another thread - do the police give daily |
|
alerts in the newspaper or on TV.
The answer is NO.
They do thier job.
Did the CIA / FBI tell us about each terrorist everyday or attacks plans in the 1990's...? Heck no. They did thier job.
This is a "propaganda tool" by shrub. Is there terror in the world? Sure there is...but that's what lawenforcement does....they track it down...they don't broadcast it and make daily "color alerts".

Why did they lie to us about Iraq? Why couldn't they just tell us the truth? Do they not trust the people with the truth?
Clinton got caught lying about a blow job, didn't anyone learn anything from that? Why don't they just tell us the truth?

18. Don ANUS Is *NOT* "Sincere" |
|
As somebody posted above, he has shilled for Shrub every step of the way, whether in Campaign 2000 saying he was for Shrub just because it would be "fun" up through the build up to the Iraq attack where he said we were attacking "just because we CAN".
(re-post: ) After hearing MSRNC's Andrea MITCHELL report on POWELL's "admission" that there were NO Iraq-Al Qaeda connections, PLUS the report that there were NO WMD AND that KAY is quitting "WITHOUT ISSUING A FINAL REPORT," I moseyed over to Faux to see how they would spin these items. HAH!---they didn't mention these items at all, since of course Britanney is MUCH more important. But then there WAS spin, a diversion, which was THIS topic, about the 1,000 new jobs. The Steve DOOZY clown, who has to suffer the indignity of doing the weather after his hosting job is over, at first said (LIED) that the (unemployment rate?) was the lowest in ELEVEN years, which would of course completely obliterate all of the CLINTON years, but then he had to correct himself and say it was ONE year. Then their other Faux employee from another show said that these 1,000 jobs was a misleading number because SELF-employment is not counted, people who start their own businesses, such that REALLY, the number of new jobs for Shrub is ONE MILLION. Can there be any more documentation of how Faux keeps its loyal wingnuts plausibly ignorant?
