Back in the early 80s, during a preseason football game between the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders, Darryl Stingley a wide receiver caught a pass and was hit with a vicious blow by defensive back, Jack Tatum. The hit paralyzed Darrly Stingley for life. Jack Tatum refused to even talk to Darryl after the accident and always claimed that the hit was legitimate.

Flash forward to today, Jack Tatum was diagnosed as a diabetic and had to have his left leg amputated. His right one is hanging in the balance. Now Tatum is in the same position as Darryl Stingley and yet Tatum still refuses to talk to him.

Wow. Kharma is a bitch aint it?

And every respectable piece od sports journalism I've read since then confirms that Tatum is a grade-A asshole.

a life long Boston Patriot fan(yes Boston,still not used to N.E.Pats),call me old fashioned.I remember that hit like it was yesterday,to this day Darryl still holds no ill will,it says something for the man he is,and shows Tatum for the man he is not.
