Poll question: Blunts Vs. Bong Hits
Hi Agent Mike!

Now I don't smoke pot ever...and never would.

And I know NO ONE HERE ever would...but let's just say for the sake of argument we did...

Would you prefer that hypothetical marijuana delivered via a water pipe or via an unpacked re-rolled cigar?

Why yes it is!
I've been rotating the members of Phish as my avatars, last week was Trey...next week will be Fishman I think...

But Page RAWKS! Shit, they all do...definition of supergroup IMO...

6. Nah...stuck on the left coast
No left coast dates.

I just didn't *get* Oysterhead...I mean I love the Police, love Primus and love Phish, but as a group they just didn't do it for me...

Ever listen to MMW (Medeski Martin and Wood)?

7. Next to Phish...
MMW is probably the group I've seen the second most, I absolutely dig me some Medeski...

I'm a little troubled that that they weren't invited back to the Rochester International Jazz Festival this year after a three-peat of mindbending shows at High Falls, but whatever I guess...

8. Lots of Jazz purists don't consider MMW jazz
Due to their following. I remember being at Monterey and hearing lots of purists referring to MMW as "well, they're really not jazz they are rock after all..."

WTF?? By that logic, anything Miles Davis did in the 70's wouldn't be considered jazz, and Bitches Brew should be re-categorized in the Rock section...

11. I wholeheartedly agree...
There has been alot of talk in the jazz community here in Rochester about their background in traditional jazz, however acts such as Bobby McFerrin are billed this year with no MMW. Absolutely incredible in my opinion.

You get down with Soulive?

13. Greyboy...absolutely
It's too bad that they disbanded, I had a chance to see them a few years back at the Wetlands Preserve...

As far as Soulive is concerned, they are another progressive jazz, groove, funk trio from Boston I want to say, don't quote me on that though, however if you are interested, download a show and give them a run...

2. depends on the type of weed i don't have when i don't smoke it.
Edited on Sat May-01-04 02:32 PM by SheepyMcSheepster
when i don't smoke nice fluffy dank weed, i usually don't use a bong, however if i don't have any fluffy dank weed not to smoke and there is only swag to not smoke i will favor not smoking blunts.

5. I don't know
it hinges on the setting, if someone were stupid enough to "roll and bowl" that is smoke while driving, that person would most likely prefer the blunt because of the ease with which one can toke it. however, in smoking outside of a car some would choose a bong for the size of the hit and smoothness and lack of waste.

I'm too old to get a federal job and if I had to lie to get it, why would I want it?

Just my opinion,
