Time traveller from 2256?
Edited on Sun May-02-04 08:07 PM by coloradodem2004
NEW YORK -- Federal investigators have arrested an enigmatic Wall Street wiz on insider-trading charges -- and incredibly, he claims to be a time-traveler from the year 2256!

Sources at the Security and Exchange Commission confirm that 44-year-old Andrew Carlssin offered the bizarre explanation for his uncanny success in the stock market after being led off in handcuffs on January 28.
<snip>
"But the fact is, with an initial investment of only $800, in two weeks' time he had a portfolio valued at over $350 million. Every trade he made capitalized on unexpected business developments, which simply can't be pure luck.
<snip>
Officials are quite confident the "time-traveler's" claims are bogus. Yet the SEC source admits, "No one can find any record of any Andrew Carlssin existing anywhere before December 2002."

Everyone from the future has been instructed and have taken an oath not to interfere with the timeline. ;)

7. Okay.
Say I jump into a time machine and go back in time to 2000. I set out to change how the election happened. I keep the republicans from storming the recount in Florida and then as a result on January 20th 2001, President Albert A. Gore is inagurated as 43rd President of the United States.

Would you go after me then?

14. In that case...
... you and I should get together and start building a time machine. In the event that Kerry does not win, we may need it to save America. What do you think?
