7. cool - I have a huge bottle of the stuff waiting fro me to pull a Rush
Actually I have them for kidney stones. The best anti drug message ever....dont take them for fun because what if you had a kidney stone at 3 am and DIDNT have any pills in the house - drive to the ER and wait 4 hours?? anyone who has had a kidney stone or 2 will join me in a resounding chorus of "fuck that!"

10. amen brother!!
nothing hurts like a kidney stone.. then you wait for hours in the ER for a single pill that costs you 300 bucks if you're lucky.

i've been there, done that.

14. I never swore so much as when they handed me forms...forms!
I was curled on the floor thinking I was going to die....I have set my own bones, given myself stitches twice and I was crying like a very small french girl on the floor of the ER asking if I was going to die and could they help me....they hand me a stack of forms to fill out. I never ever thought I would be nostalgic for the NHS back in Britain.

15. Buzzz. I'm sorry wrong answer. Hydrocodone is generic Vicodin or
Lortab. Oxycodone is generic Percocet. OxyContitn is oxycodone minus the acetomenaphen

17. Actually it is a brand name. Darvocet is just Darvon with acetomenephin
(Tylenol). Any more questions, ask the narcotic guru! Been in more hospitals than anyone would care to.

19. Damn! I used to take Darvocet (unprescribed) for headaches and it felt
a lot less potent than Darvon. I HATE it when my semi-lucid conclusions are rendered false....

I barfed up everything but my toenails!

No more, thanks. I'll try the Percoset next time.

16. They gave me a bunch of oxy (percs) when my jaw was broken, but
the best narcotic painkiller is Delotid w/o a doubt. Expensive on the street b/c it's more powerful than H, but the best part of having very painful surgery.

18. For chronic pain (and I have it) I've found Vicodin to be better
in the long run. You don't reach "maintenance level" quite as quickly and, when you run out, it's not hard to tolerate the lack of it.
