Seriously, though, you need to move away from the radio material. Try some Frank Zappa, Kevin Gilbert, The Samples, Stuart Davis, Mike Keneally, XTC, King Crimson, King Missile, Trout Fishing In America and Negativland for starters.

There is plenty to like in the mainstream. If you like Coldplay, try any Travis album. They are both great Brit-pop.

Fantastic Beatles record. Go buy it. Not a bad song there. the release of this recording in 1966 on the heels of "Rubber Soul" finally made people sit up and agree that we were dealing with works of genius here. It's just fabulous. you can tell they were starting to do a lot of Acid at that time, too. go out RIGHT NOW and buy a copy.
