I have a old song question (I bet NightTrain will know this one). |
|
It's a song from the early 60's, and it's called "Get A Job". It goes like this:
Sha-la-la-la, Sha-la-la-la-la (Baaaoooom)
Sha-la-la-la, Sha-la-la-la-la (Baaaoooom)
Sha-la-la-la, Sha-la-la-la-la (Baaaoooom)
Sha-la-la-la, Sha-la-la-la-la (Baaaooo),
Yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-mum-mum-mum-mum-mum-mum get a job.
Who sang that song???

6. You got that in less than one minute! |
|
Are you some kind of computerized musicologist? That is impressive as hell.

4. Sha-na-na-na says The Silhouettes (1957) - but my memory is |
|
Spring 58 which agrees with NightTrain (as if I am going to disagree with NightTrain and post and prove what poor musical memory I have!)
:-)

5. It was released in December 1957... |
|
...but peaked on the charts long about April 1958.
