Poll question: Question for the lovely ladies of DU |
|
I'm getting massage oil and bath foam for my girlfriend who's having a very stressful week. (Shh! It's a surprise!)
So which would smell better to you:

3. I'm better with food scents than flower scents |
|
(I think some of the flower essential oils are allergens for me.)
Vanilla, by itself, would be my preference; if the jasmine isn't overpowering, it might be a nice combo.

4. One is relaxing, one is energizing... |
|
So, which goal are you after? Personally, I'm not a big fan of vanilla, but know a ton of girls who are, so... :) I'd say, given the stress, that's probably the better bet!

I plan on bringing it to her at 1030ish tonight in a surprise. The bath foam is just in case she wants to just collapse and go to sleep, which may indeed happen.

to think of her,
I'd go for the Jasmine/Vanilla
Spearmint and the rest can smell medicinal to me.

10. Spearmint reminds me of mouthwash |
|
I don't think I'd find it very relaxing.
Just one old gal's opinion. :) Nice thought, btw.

12. Wow, what a nice surprise! |
|
I'd suggest the Mint/Eucalyptus, since it will not only soothe her, but it will make her feel refreshed...perhaps energetic enough for some rambunctious activity.
