Will Rumsfeld resignation cause defectors from the Bush Admin. |
|
When Rumsfeld is forced to step down in disgrace will those personal secretaries and alike that will surely follow him be talking / writing tell all books that will damage Bushco even more.
This may be the only way we will ever hear the truth about how they so effectively have been controlling the media. We might get a few to come forward about how they filtered and controlled the Intel on WMDs
First off I believe Rumsfeld is giving his dying gasps on capitol hill today
Even better yet what would come out in New Senate confirmation proceedings for a new Sec of Defense. If the ground swell is big enough we might even see more Dem leaders talk about the Bushco lies

Public opinion has already swung. The pendulium is in the Kerry camp and things will only get worse for Bush.
Rummys outing will give the "All Clear Signal" for the media to jump on the band wagon and drop the official Bushco propaganda.
Bush is out clear and simple..poor little freepers..what to do..what to do

3. FDJ, I believe you're right. |
|
There is absolutely no way he can keep his job after today. Not after he warned the world that 'there's a lot worse to come'. So bad, in fact, that he can 'hardly believe it himself'.
He's finished. At this moment, he's packing up his personal items into a cardboard box at the office.
I can only speculate as to what's to come. And I have a hunch Wolfowitz and General Myers will go down with the captain.

5. Yes if Rummy is gone they are gone too |
|
Once Rummy is forced to resign the Dems will be watching too close to the election for Bush to even think of appointing (or attempting to appoint Wolffy )

6. Rummy resignation would cause too much political fall out |
|
Beieve me Rummy wants out befor he is tried of war crimes. Bush and Cheney need him to stay because once gone they know they don't stand a chance of re-election.
Once Bush is out of office real criminal proceedings could and would take place. Remember history is written by the winner - only the loosers go to jail
