15. That's how I view my job......
it pays the bills......So tired of the daily crap that goes with a gov't job (people may think we have it made but no, we don't, in more than a few ways) I'm tired of never knowing where I stand in my job, seeing lazy idiots get promoted because they have "seniority" (and when I say "idiot" I mean "idiot") and doing tasks that get dumped on to me and others because the office slackers will probably cry discrimination if they actually have to do any work. Yes, I could leave, but I really need my job, plus I would need to get my skills refreshed beforehand. I can't go on where I am forever, obviously. :)

I'm just feeling really lousy about my work situation these days. I really want to do other things, like act, or write, or do both.

I just want to feel fabulous. ;) :D

27. Semi-retired
Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer in electronics. After 30 years in So CA, I was caught in the aerospace lay-offs during a previous Bush administration.

Went back to school to become a science teacher, but found happiness in the National Park Service as a summer seasonal Ranger-Naturalist (now they call us "interpreters" because we explain nature to the public.)

The past 6 winters I drove limo & bus part-time in Lancaster, PA but this winter I tried a seasonal position at Petrified Forest NP, AZ.

Friday 5/14 I leave AZ, make a little side trip to visit Hawker Hurricane, and in two weeks I'll be at Old Faithful for my tenth summer at Yellowstone NP.
