I never read mention of PETA on this board |
|
I'm not saying that is good or bad. It just occurred to me.

1. Hang around for a while. |
|
The next time PETA does some over-the-top stunt, someone will post a thread about it. Some will think it's another great idea to save the defenseless animals of this planet, and others will think it's simply asinine.
These things tend to get ugly. I remember the brilliant chicken holocaust ad. THAT was a fun thread. /sarcasm off

6. PETA does nothing over the top, you mange-licking placenta eating fuck |
|
It's obvious you believe that the ritualistic, Christian-sponosred mutilation and murder of animals just so you can eat and/or wear them is totally okay and sanctioned by your God. Obviously, you support Kerry and his Heinz-corporation "Without people eating murdered animals our fortune in Ketsup would dwindle" wife, and equally obviously your support the annihilationm of life and the utter destruction of our solar system.
/sarcasm off - please note, I don't mean anything I said. I'm just trying to sound like a PETA person. And also please note, I've been a Greenpeace supporter since about 1989 and I also believe that meat farming is terribly destructive to the environment, especially now that every johnny-come-lately-yuppie-filth-fucker has decided that "Atkins is the diet for me, because I'm a trendy up and coming fuckign moran!!!"
Please note again: I do not disparage the Arkins diet or those who follow it, except the bogus Zinfindel swilling aesthetically challenged yuppie filth who are following it for no reason other than that that guy who sat on the nautilus machine, bench-pressing 350 pounds, is on Atkins and since he has a Merceds it's important for me, the shallow asshole refuse yuppie fuck who can't think for himself, to get onto the same diet. And I disparage them because the price of beef has risen solely because of their in ability to make even a single creative decision about their lives, or take any personal responibility for who they are and who they want to be, since they want to be nothing but morans who purchase the "right" commodities in order to fit into their ethical and morally bankrupt chosen yuppie-filth society which has no value beyond occasionally ending up supporting/giving-money-to a bona fide artist who is then able to offer his/her paintings/artwork to people who actually know how to appreciate art instead of thinking of it as a "Outdoing the Joneses self-esteem masturbatory acquisition."
Sorry if that sounds bitter, that's just my current mood.

There will be days, maybe once every two months, where it's all PETA all the time.
You may totally miss em if you don't check in every day...

5. Wait until they do some publicity stunt. |
|
A few days ago they told Michael Moore that he was overweight and should become a vegetarian to lose weight.
I don't recall anyone here admitting that they are a member.

I am an animal rights advocate, though there are some issues that I don't agree with PETA on.

try and stop me from going into a PetCo once. She was real pushy. I looked down and she was wearing Doc Martin leather shoes. I asked her she kept the skinned cow out back until he grew new skin. She went all buck wild on me. I had fun.

15. For your information, only vegans don't wear leather. |
|
I am a vegetarian and I wear leather. That person you bashed was probably a vegetarian. I get that shit all the time when I tell people that I am a vegetarian. "Well, do you wear leather?" Vegans do not eat or wear any animal product. Vegetarians just don't eat meat, but do consume dairy products.

If she had the nerve to try and keep me from buying biscuits for my dog while wearing skin from a dead animal she says she protects then I'll just call her a hypocrite.

are second only to gun threads in terms of getting ugly REAL fast. for the record i support about 98% of what peta does, a lot of it is behind the scenes, they have a lot of really good campaigns that benefit both animals and humans that get little/no publicity (their investigations of iams for example, and their kfc campaign until they took it a step too far), it's only the really stupid inane stuff that gets attention in the media and on here. and yeah, they can get really stupid.
edit: grammar, hah.
