Holy hasenpfeffer, beer's gone up in price! |
|
Anybody else notice?
6 months ago, my luscious MGD was $7.49 for a 12-pack of tin cans filled with the only yellow liquid I'd ever consider drinking.
Today? It's $8-bloody-99!!! :grr:  :puke:
Booze everywhere has skyrocketed.
At least in MN.
What's it like in your area?
And why has it gone up? Taxes? MN Governor Timmy Pawlenty said there wouldn't be any more of those... :eyes: Let me guess, the "fee" for buying alcohol has increased? :eyes:
The stadium bill hadn't gone through yet, so what gives?

2. Not so fuzzy math to explain fuzzy milk... |
|
There are 128 ounces in one gallon.
A 12 pack of my favorite yellow liquid costs $8.99. A 12 pack is 144oz, 12 x 12 oz cans of frothy mellowing yellow.
One gallon of moo is $4.20 (in MN and without the hormones...)
I'm glad milk is cheaper, otherwise I really would switch to beer!
No more milk in my Hamburger Helper. I'll replace the 1 cup milk with 1 cup beer.

4. It's the gas prices... |
|
Even the stuff brewers make on the premesis will cost more if they have to have ingredients shipped in at a higher price.
