Day off today...have a homebuyer's class down in San Antonio. Should be *yawn* loads of fun.

Actually, my day is going to be great.

Although I'm currently unemployed, I did save back some money and I don't have to get to work quite yet.

I'm currently going though some series dental problems, so serious that it might be a good thing I'm not working a few weeks.

But none of that's happening today.

today is just me at home doing...whatever, probably pissing off people ;-)

...so it's a good thing. Paying for this house will be expensive enough without that stupid insurance.

I'm doing this while listening to Pink Floyd's "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun".

After finally getting ourselves into a decent income and jobs, outside "efficiency consultants" are coming to review my department next week. A corresponding department on our group disability benefits end had this happen and they had to re-apply for their jobs, and of course there were fewer positions open than existed. We're both contemplating a job search to either go back to Birmingham, AL or possibly Tampa or Atlanta. Uggghhhhh! And we just signed a new lease here.....
