Do women actually worry about panty lines?
The other day I saw an article where the writer(a female) was discussing panty lines and how to make them less noticeable. Frankly, I couldn't tell if she was serious....in some ways it sounded like it and in other ways it didn't. As a guy it is not something I would even notice, much less care if I did.

So the question, are panty lines truly an issue for women?

3. I personally don't care.

But, then again, I don't usually worry about girlie (does the belt match the shoes, is my bag the latest style) kind of stuff.

Edit: I don't ever wear the aforementioned granny panties, so maybe that has something to do with it..

4. Some may.

I am not a woman who concerns herself with such things. And quite frankly, I don't care to.

6. My attitude is
who gives a shit? I hate that attitude - all women care about X, Y and Z, and if you don't care, you ain't a woman. What bullshit!

If panty lines are going to show too much, I'll wear a well-fitting thong.

17. I've found
If sized correctly and cottony or satiny, they're not so bad.
However, I got a Victoria's Secret catalog today though and there was a pearl thong. Like a strip of pearls in all your bits and pieces. :wtf: That would be not too comfy I'd assume.

10. I've never worried about them.
You shouldn't be wearing pants that tight in the first place.

And my posterior seems to get plenty of positive attention anyway, so I'm not sure what difference it makes.

VPL was not even an issue until 5 or 10 years ago. It is a way to sell thongs but it has backfired as the better way to not have VPL is to skip panties altogether.

If you are serious about not showing bra/pantylines the only way is to either forget about leaving your house or to forget about foundations.

On Edit: Oh, as another post reminds me, sure, there is a third way, wear hideous baggy clothes that make even a well-formed woman look fat. Not Gonna Happen. You will pry my "too tight" (otherwise known as properly form-fitting) clothing out of my cold dead hands or however it goes... :-)

13. I take issue with you on this.
I am outraged, I tell you. Visible panty lines have been an issue for at least 30 years. Dammit, now I'm mad. That is why panty-hose with cotton crotch thingies and control tops were invented. Then we career women quit wearing panties with the panty-hose and just instead sweated and were bound around the belly as good as a corset could ever do!

You young'uns will never learn! The sacrifices not to have the panty lines 30 years ago. Well, humph (disgusted snort/grunt). You had better pay some major homage to your older sisters.

And skip panties! Ah'm getting the vapors. Doesn't that give y'all the rash?

15. No.
I can't remember ever...in 44 years...stopping to think about, look for, or wonder whether I had a visible panty line.

18. For some it should be an issue
I've seen some truly hideous panty lines on women, and feel sorry because, since it's behind them, they probably don't realize it.

And that's on all sorts of women, underweight, average, over; attractive, not so attractive, etc.

if the clothes are too tight, I just go without. If they're normal-fitting clothes, I don't worry about it.

20. As a Man, I think pantie lines are disgusting.
I mean, here you are shopping in a mall....decide to get something to eat...
sit down to enjoy your meal and what happens?..
Some filthy, unkempt female prances by you with these sickening pantie lines bulging out
all over the place. Gee, talk about ruining someones appetite.
Any women who allows their pantie lines to be seen is just plain human trash.

22. Yes, I do.
But you don't always have to wear a thong to get rid of them. Seamless boyshorts work well, too, and they are comfy!

Sometimes, though, you have to suffer & wear the thong.
