I am gonna see Blondie t'night but........ |
|
I saw her on A and E. She looks more like Phyllis Diller anymore. The band sounds weak except for the drummer. Sounds like I will be sittin in the speakers again. I am getting old :sigh:

1. Yuck. We saw her on the Today show a couple weeks back and |
|
they sounded terrible.
I didn't think she could sing "back then" and she certainly can't sing now.
It was terrible.
If you like to party, have a few drinks. You can still have fun.

She still sounds quite good on CD. The Curse Of Blondie finds them settling into a natural sophistication.

She was on the Today Show and it sounded like she gargled razor blades before her vocals.

I think her voice still has range and power. It's a little more ragged, but also a little deeper, which is good for some of her songs.
Edited post for detail.
