My lurker daughter and her SO chose a Boston trip to celebrate graduation. They'll be staying on the Freedom Trail next weekend to do the tourist thing.
Do you have any advise or suggestions on "not to be missed" events/places of interest?
Thanks! :-)

1. What kind of things interest your daughter and her SO? |
|
There are so many things to see and do here. Plesae give specifics. PS What is a "lurker"?

7. Their interests are very broad |
|
They like to get a local feel for places after checking out the more common tourist stuff. If it helps, one is an engineer and the other a political sci major working for nonprofits.
A lurker is a person that reads DU but doesn't post.

8. Tell then to check out the "Boston Weddings" at the local UU Churchs |
|
Arlington Street Church has had same sex weddings for years but on Monday they will be recognized by the state. ASC also has some of the most beautiful Tiffiny stained glass windows in the world.

5. I just took a tour of teachers to downtown Boston |

We took a tour with the Freedom Trail Foundation and their guides are really interesting and have great stories. They offer 90 minute tours of part of the Freedom Trail that really bring the area to life.
The MFA and the Museum of Science are both great museums. As is the JFK Library.
