1. Simple...just follow a recipe for biscuits

but instead of baking them , drop them onto the stew during the last 15 min of cooking and voila! Dumplin's

4. I know about 2 kinds: fluffy German deelicious kind and the Southern

granny, skinny, deeeeelicious kind. They sell the skinny kind in the grocery stores in the freezer section. The old ladies use them now in the South, commonly.
