2. Missing Option: Extra Pulp
The pulp they strain from the "no pulp" batch doesn't get wasted... they just dump the bits into the "extra pulp" batch.

3. Fresh squeezed. Who gives a shit about pulp?
only in America would people have fits about whether their goddamn orange juice has pulp, or no pulp, or extra calcium, or whatever.

I'm glad to see the marketing people at the food conglomerates with nothing else to do are actually having an affect on your habits and desires. :eyes:

You squeeze an orange, you drink it. Pretty basic.

27. isn't orange juice what comes out of an orange?
maybe I'm spoiled cause I live in SoCal and the damn things actually grow on trees here .....

But when I was a kid, growing up, we weren't blessed with the bountiful marketing choices of pulpless, pulpful, calcium-enriched take-up-more-space-on-the-shelves-of-the-Ralph's juice selection.

Orange juice is something that came from oranges.

Maybe I'm just an old canterkerous fart at 42.

32. That's the only thing I miss here in low carb land
I eat strawberries and make sure I get vitamin C, but orange-related stuff is pretty sweet. However, when I donate blood, I always hoard up before on burgers and fries and then have OJ there. (Otherwise I tend to pass out if my blood sugar is too low even before all this reduced carbohydrate stuff. Not good.) Maybe it's time to give another pint.

34. funny story...
I like my OJ with pulp, and I always have. This caused problems when I was growing up because my two younger siblings hated pulp...so much so that they would cry when my mom served us OJ with pulp.

However, because they misunderstood the word, they used to whine and say "Mommy, I don't like juice with POPES in it!"

This caused quite the stir in my Catholic family.

:)
