1. What on earth for?
j/k. My brother spent about 20 years in Minot, in the AF. He moved back to PA last fall.

I hear it gets pretty cold there in the winter. ;)

2. Minot was subject of an old Air Force Joke
They're going to close Minot AFB....as soon as they can find it.

13. Good Luck!
I'll e-mail your website address to my two nieces, who are still in Minot. I don't really know their political affiliation, but they're young and may give it a look.

3. Do you have a job offer there?
The reason I ask is that I have been looking for a long time for a way to get the family out to some place rural on a shoestring. I am really, really tired of the hamster wheel of working just to keep my head above ater. Quality of life issues are really important to me - and getting more important by the day. I see all these wonderful places in the middle of nowhere and I think, "God I would love that. But how do you make a living there?" Now I know Minot isn't Mayberry, but I am sure it is a lot less populated than anywhere in Florida!

5. Unfortunately no.
The jobs situation in Minot is such that if you want to really make any money, you have to be running the business.

I appreciate your interest though... Who knows, maybe a bit of pregressive spirit might help the situation.

Nice place.

I've written most of these Wiki articles on it:

14. Congratulations and welcome back!
And good luck with your race. It's a tought battle in this de facto one party state. I know. I was a "place holder" candidate for Senate last time in District 41. We had two fabulous House candidates who worked their asses off, and I actually did better than they did.

I know you're on my NDProgressiveDems list and the new list started by Barrett Gall (formerly of the Dean campaign, now working for the Satrom campaign).

It's worrisome at times, going up against staunch Republican incumbents. I really think I can swing it though...

21. It would have been 15 years ago
Blackman is the last name.

I don't think he's anywhere near Minot these days.
If he's even still alive, he's probably somewhere in Spain, incognito.
(it's a long story)
