Is it tacky to bring flowers to a wake instead of having delivered? |
|
I am running into walls trying to order flowers by paypal, and I don't have a cc I can use. PayPay by check still takes days to clear, so even stores that take paypal are not able to take my order. The wake is tonight. Would it be OK for me to just go buy an arrangement and bring it in myself? Otherwise, I am about out of time.

1. Bring Them With You... Then |
|
leave them in the car. Once inside, see if you can find someone to bring them in for you and find an appropriate place for them. That way you're free to greet and meet and hug immediately upon arrival without having your hands full.

3. Your flowers will be appreciated no matter how they get in the door... |

But arwalden did give some **great** advice!

I agree. It was good advice. And simple. I thought, "Now WHY didn't I think of that?!" LOL

4. An employee of the funeral parlor should gladly take care of it. |
|
Just stick your head into the office and ask somebody there to take them from your car and place them in the room.
(Assuming the wake is being held at a funeral parlor.)

6. Yes, it is at a funeral parlor. |
|
That is what I will do. At least this way, I get to pick something out myself and I will know it gets to the right place at the right time. I just never saw anyone bring their own before, so I wasn't sure if it would be weird.
