Press release from Office of White House Physician |
|
Roiters/August 1, 2004 Press release from Office of Senior White House Physician Dr. Conny Mariano:
"The President is suffering from a relatively mild case of influenza. Although he feels well enough physically to continue his duties as Commander-in-Chief and Chief Executive, this particular virus manifests itself primarily in the vocal cords. In some cases the larynx nerves are permanently damaged or paralyzed. His condition is being treated with antibiotics, however the prognosis is not as good as we would like. It is unlikey that the President will be able to speak normally for several months."

3. If they treat the dumb bastard with antibiotics... |
|
the prognosis won't be good at all.
Since antibiotics don't work on viral diseases.
