Tonight We Put Away The Pistons And Turn Towards Indiana
On our quest for a third straight trip to the NBA Finals, the first Eastern Conference team to do so since the Chicago Bulls.

Tonight we will dismantle the Pistons, probably by 10-15 points. And then next week we turn to the overrated Indiana Pacers.

Kenyon Martin will shut down Jermaine O'Neal.
Ricahrd Jefferson will embarass Ron Artest.
Kerry Kittles will smother Reggie Miller.
Jason Kidd will destroy whoever the Pacers throw at him.
Brian Scalabrine will dominate whoever he plays.

So my prediction for the next round...

Nets over Pacers in 5.

:)

1. after the first time out it's 13-2 Nets
Like I said. We rock.

And no, I don't care if nobody else cares about this game.

2. There must have been a recount
Pistons 27-25. "The confidence level is starting to soar for Detroit", said the announcer.

3. now Detroit is up by 14 at halftime
Shows me how much of a prognosticator I am.

:stupid:

I hope the Nets can turn it on again in the second half. They started the game great, but since it was 13-2 they've collapsed.

The Nets usually make their runs in the 3rd quarter. So if they're going to get back in the game its going be in the first 5 minutes of the quarter.

If they're still trailing by 12 or more with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, they'll probably lose the game.

I still think they can win game 7 though, if it goes to that.

Nets in 6 (or 7).

4. Detroit up by only 2 with 2:02 left in the 3rd quarter
The run that I said the Nets had to make has happened.

8. i don't know
I found it on a die-hard New Jersey Nets fan site (yeah, who knew they existed?!?!)

But they are cool aren't they?

By the way, at the end of the 3rd quarter the Pistons are leading the Nets 60-57.

This game looks like it'll go down to the wire again. Oh goody!!

9. Who knows, we might see ya in the Finals.
And I agree that Indiana's overrated. I also think we can beat the Fakers in a 7-game series as soon as we take care of Sacto.

11. This is the first season of the Pacers that I haven't watched
So I know they're bound to win it all, finally, this year. It's just how my luck has been going with tv lately.

15. Winning the Eastern Conference is about as prestigious these days
As being the winner of the Junior Varsity championship.

The LEastern Conference winner's gonna get beat like a throw rug by the Western Conference champ again.
