Pop princess Britney Spears has confessed she's had a sexual experience with another woman. Responding to Janet Jackson's confession that she was once in love with another woman - by revealing she is as experienced as the 38-year-old. Britney told the German edition of FHM magazine, "I may not brag about it as much, but as far as sex goes, I've done similar things to what Janet Jackson has done." Spears was reportedly spotted flirting with a gorgeous brunette she picked up at a gay and lesbian club in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I posted this to a lesbian board and got these comments:
1. It's amazing how being a lesbian has become a popular trend, and to be honest i'm not sure i believe her........
2. If it's true, that's sad......the girl is a bad representation for any sexual preference, and imo, she still can't sing........

My opinion: It's true. She's had erotic encounters with women. Why does she want to tell people? Is she trying to show support and empathy to gay people? Is she trying to demonstrate that lesbians are all around us? I just can't figure it out.

Been in a bar lately? While I don't know Ms. Spears personally, she does kind of strike me as the sort of girl who will flirt/kiss/make out with other girls because she knows guys get off on it. I don't think she's so bright or calculating that she would deliberately reveal this as a way to increase her sex appeal and therefore sell more records, but who knows. I can certainly see Madonna being an influence here.
