Hey everyone! I just wanted to give you a bit of an update on me (not that all of you care, but maybe some of you do!).

I am a BBW model and am currently working on my own website. I am a featured model on a group site (www.redhotphatgirlz.com), but my partner, Luna (who is also on that site) and I have decided to branch out on our own. I've been busy doing photo shoots, and hopefully will have enough photos to have my website up soon. I'm also trying to get work in fashion catalog and runway for BBW clothing designers and vendors in Florida and for online sites.

PLUS... I am working on getting together a demo, to get back into the music business. I'm a vocalist who has been both in live bands and a studio musician previously. I am hoping to get back into studio work.

PLUS... I met this wonderful guy from DC who I think is going to be a very long-term friend and lover. He's liberal, extremely politically active, and we have tons in common. He travels all over the world with his job (he works sound for live shows). When we met, it was like we had known each other forever. *sighs happily*

So what can I say, life is great! I know I don't post much, but I read DU religiously and just wanted to share with you. If you're interested in my BBW modelling, join my yahoo group, TwoTallBBWs. 6. I don't know where you live...

But I do almost all my shopping at Cato's. Great store that carries regular and plus sizes, very fashionable, hip clothes at low prices. Nice bras and panties for plus sizes, too. In fact all my lingerie that I wear in my photo shoots are from there. They even have a shoe department, with shoes in larger sizes (to size 11) to DIE for!

I heard they have a website, but I haven't been able to find it. If I find it, I will let you know.

My waist fits one size and my big butt fits another! I wind up with extra waistage every time!

5. y'know, that is a big fat (pun intended) pet peeve of mine...

The makers of BBW clothing assume that we all have this tremendous apron of fat from waist to groin. We all don't! But all my pants have like three extra yards of material for that purpose. They fit my waist and my butt and leave me looking like I should be carrying an overgrown joey. :grr:

8. I have the same problem...

I have a small waist and large hips (44DD-37-57). I have a slight belly, but I always have extra material in front and a gaping waistline in back. I define my figure as an hourglass with more sand at the bottom than the top.

Even the 'thin' girls (I've seen Lioness' pic, she's definitely no BBW!) have the same problem. When I was thin, I still had that gaping waistband problem with pants and skirts. Back then I was 34B-24-37. I think designers think all women under size 10 are shaped like sticks and all women over size 10 are shaped like balls. Argh!!!
