Anyone know how to replace a cracked screen on a laptop? |
|
Hubby ran over his laptop in a fit of rage at Bush this morning. He had forgotten to put in his car before he drove to work and left it on the driveway so he backed over it after putting the car in forward instead of reverse where he crashed the garage door. The screen is cracked on the bottom corner. It's a Compaq laptop about three years old. Is there some way one can buy a new screen at Best Buy or somewhere, or is it just trash, now. The computer still works which is unbelievable but the crack in the screen keeps him from reading certain areas.
Anyone have any advice?

1) Take it to an authorized repair center. 2) Pay a lot of money.
