1. Interesting and timely
but it isn't as good this season as it has been in the past.

I liked how the Prez tried any and all diplomatic means to keep from using military strikes in Gaza.

Wonder if Donna and Josh will get together next year?

3. My brother is on West Wing.
When I saw your post I thought you meant it was done forever and he was going to be out of work.

He's just an extra and I only saw him on it once, but I don't watch it too often.

5. I just thought that it was interesting that Leo seemed more susceptible
to the chickenhawks than the certified peace-nik Bartlett.

Everytime I think that Josh and Donna are gonna hook up I get shot out of the water...

This season hasn't been the stinker it could have been after Sorkin's departure, but it certainly lost a little of it's zip....Hopefully after John Kerry gets elected in the fall the writers/producers won't be so cowed by the fear of rethuglican criticism and we can get back to the level it has been in the past...

BTW, the second season came out on DVD this past Tuesday...I have a looooooong weekend ahead of me!!!

6. Not great....
Donna's probably gone. Her contract hasn't been renewed.

Interesting to have the US involved directly in Gaza military action.

7. Nick Danger reference
that was the best part for me ...

ANNOUNCER: He walks in! He's ready for mystery...he's ready for excitement! He's ready for anything...he's...
SOUND: TELEPHONE PICKED UP
NICK: Nick Danger, Third Eye!
GEORGE Tirebiter: (ON FILTER) Uh-I wanna order a pizza to go, and no anchovies.
NICK: No anchovies? You've got the wrong man. I spell my name...Danger!
GEORGE: (FILTER) What?

let's face it, the show has become a soap opera with a political setting ... can you say "hire better writers" ???
