Well everybody - My Fiance and I are off to Key West tomorrow AM!!!

This whole week, what with the failed civil wedding and such, will happily be blotted out of our memory by a healthy mix of sun, skin and booze!!!

Thanks to all who had kind words during the wedding debacle!

I will certainly miss everybody for the next 8 days (I had my first DU based dream last night which is a good sign that I need to get 1500 miles away from my computer ASAP!)

3. Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up

My fiance and I are due to be married oct 1 2005 - we wanted to have a civil wedding this tuesday for insurance and financial reasons, etc. Her mother is a justice of the peace so it seemed clear cut. at 1 oclock tuesday (the ceremony was to be at 6) we decided, just to be safe , to call our priest (RC min you). He said don't do it or we'd have to get an annulment to be married in the church....whew....so there were tears and many great posts with people here and we decided to suck it up and wait since, for spiritual reasons, we are more concerned with a churxh wedding. I left some stuff out but you get the gist......whew!
