Nothing too bad. It looks like most of the bad stuff will stay south of us.

EDIT: We might get hit by a very small cell.

8. Two twisters were just on the ground in Dane Co, WI
I think one's already dissipated. One was North of Madison, the other was SE. So far, the lakes have bumped them away from us again.

Gotta love them lakes.

:)

Gotta love the local weatherpersons during times like this, too. They love to haul out the doppler radar and do a 'play by play' on the wind speeds...

10. About 8 miles away
But they were both moving away, so we didn't run for the basement.

Which is a good thing, since when I looked this afternoon, there was a foot of water down there...:eyes:

11. 8 miles is pretty close
Glad you're safe

I've been pumping water out of the basement all day....we usually don't get that much.

5. Glad you're safe!
I agree with Jonathan, that was one nasty outbreak.

Bad news is that it doesn't look like it's over yet........

Keep safe! :hi:

6. I just heard that we are to get more storms tomorrow.
I am pretty use to twister weather. I've lived in Nebraska most of my life.
I've seen a couple twisters pretty close up. One time at my grandparents in western Nebraska I watch one coming down the street toward us until my uncle forced me in the house and down to the basement.

7. Gonna rock 'n roll here until midnight.
It's been raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock off and on all day, and now we have a tornado watch until midnight. Looks like it could, too. :(

13. Me and my girlfriend are hiding in the basement right now.
Apparently there were a couple of em about ten miles north of us, near Chenoa and Gridley.

Sounds like the warning has expired though.
