How did "The Simpsons" end tonight?
My local Fox station interrupted with a weather bulletin with two minutes to go. (I don't understand why they just don't scroll the bulletins at the bottom of the screen instead of interrupting programming; they didn't even have their top meteorologist giving the bulletin!)

They cut off the episode right after Lisa said, "Oh, I give up!" and showed Homer walking to his car.

If anyone knows what happened, please respond!

1. Homer makes his own paper defending Lisa
It sparks the interest of a lot of townsfolk, and they all make papers of their own. The episode ends with Homer making an astute observation about how any idiot can Xerox their opinions that don't matter and by sheer mass they can compete with media conglomerates.

3. They did the same thing in St. Louis, stopped the program to report
bad weather far away in Illinois and potential bad weather
outside of St. Louis city and county.

4. You probably missed the best part
Burns and Smithers were discussing the failure of their plan, saying it was futile for one man to buy up all the media, then they turn to the camera and say "Except for you, Rupert Murdoch". Then Burns adds "Yes, a prince among men".

(paraphrased--probably not verbatim at all)
