You're all a bunch of lazy slobs!
Well, that is all of you who don't live in Washington, Wyoming and Alaska. hehehe

Physically Active? How Your State Rates

Even with new guidelines that ease up on what it means to be physically active, most Americans still fail to meet the minimum activity requirements recommended by the federal government.

A new CDC report shows that 55% of American adults simply didn't move enough in 2001 to meet the minimum recommendation of 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity on most days of the week. And that's including the time adults spent in leisure activities that aren't likely to cause them to break a sweat, such as vacuuming, gardening, and walking.

They have a table at the end of the article broken down by state. Washington, Wyoming and Alaska lead with 58%; Kentucky is last with only 29% of it's residents getting the minimun daily requirement

1. Kentucky should be exempt from this activity.
As long as the people of Kentucky continue to churn out the good stuff, and by good stuff I mean bourbon, they shouldn't have to do anything else.

Keep up the good work, Kentucky.

10. Wyoming
Well, the reason we are so fit is that we whoop every time we see a violent act, then every time we whoop we have to go out and commit a violent act... Removing tongue from cheek.

11. Only 40% of Missourians
get the recommended amount of physical activity per week. Well, depending on which week it is this could very well be true. It has been HOT in St Louis this past week and about all most people are doing is moving from their air conditioned car (if they are so lucky) to their air conditioned house (again if they are so blessed).

I will admit that I am more likely to walk and ride my bike in the fall and winter because the air quality is better at those times. The humidity is not nearly as bad as during the spring and summer.

At least Missouri isn't the WORSE state when it comes to lack of regular physical activity.

Whew!
